Ahoy mateys! Tomorrow is the official "Talk Like a Pirate Day". To celebrate, our reading group has rewritten some of our favorite nursery rhymes using some of our newly acquired "pirate vocabularies" - arrrr...don't worry it's all clean. Here are our examples of the newly piratized nursery rhymes! Feel free to post ye own rhyme but keep it clean, or we'll make ye walk the plank, you scalywag.

I wrote a pirate version of little ms muffet : Little ms. saucy wench
sat on her bench drinking her grog and way, along came a wastrel and sat down beside her and frigtened ms saucy wench away.
My nursery rhymes is
Georgy Porgy.Georgy Porgy hardtack,
kissed the beautys and made them cry.
When the mateys came out to play
Georgy Porgy disembarked.
Wastrel and saucy wrench went up the hill to fetch a tankard of grog
wastrel fell down and broke his
cutlass and saucy wrench came tumbling down the poopdeck.
The itsy bisty scally wag embarked the waterrig down came the grog and disembarked the scally wag out out came sun and dried up all the grog and the itsy bitsy scally wag embarked the rig again.
this little saucy wench went to the market.this little saucy wench stayed on the poop deck.this little saucy wench drank some grog.and this little saucy wech had none.and this little saucy wech sang aarrrr aarrr aarrr all the way back to the poop deck.
Jack and Jill went down the keelhaul to fetch a pail of grog Jack fell down and broke his cutlass and Jill came tumbling after.
The itsy bitsy scalywag climed up the waterspout down came the rain and washed the scalywag out.Out came the sun and dried up the rain.
the itsy bitsy scalywag embarked the hornpipe down came the grog and disembarked the salaywag
The itsy bitsy Beauty tried to walk off the plank, and she tried to climb up again. Out cane the rain and sent her away.
Itsi-bitsi rat climer up the grog spout down came the grog and washed the rat out,out came the sun and gave the rat scurvy.

Capt' Jack Beck sat on the poopdeck,
