Congratulations, you've just finished your experience taking the 5th grade state reading test! I know that everyone really took the time to do their best and I saw some great use of strategies that we've practiced in the classroom. How do you think you did? What did you think of the test? Were there any surprises or anything that you weren't prepared for? What are your general feelings about taking these state tests, do you feel like they are able to show the amount that you have learned over the course of 5th grade? If you could give advice to next year's 5th graders about testing, what would it be? If you were in charge of creating a test, what would you do differently or would you test student's knowledge in a different way? Now's your chance to express your opinion!

I think that the state tests were really pretty easy.No surprises.
I think I did great.I think I showed every thing I learned.I think that if you want to do good you should study.

It didn't have any suprises.It was really easy.I would make it harder.
The test was acually pretty easy.I'm glad that it is over, but kind of sad because we don't get snacks anymore.If i were to change anything about the test it would be to make it harder and challenge us a little bit more!
I honestly think it was easy. There were a few questions that I got stuck on, but it was mostly pretty easy. Some people were freacked out but most people didn't. All you have to do really is chillax and take your time. I found reading the passage then reading the questions, the answering the questions and going over them really helps. I am glad its over though!!!!!
Well I didn't think that the state tests were to hard. No surprises. My advice to the next years 5th graders would be to make sure you listen in class.
I also think the tests where easy they have always been easy my advice for next years fifth graders is go and get a drink before the test.
I think I did good.I think there was only one surptise and that was the suffixes and preffixis.I thought it was pretty good for our reading level.I enjoy taking these because it reviews everything in just a couple days and if we were to do it in class then it would take longer.I would say there's really nothing to it just relax and don't get to nervous because that causes stress and stress can cause sickness.I don't know really any better way because paper and pencil takes to long.
no surprises for me ethier but the stories where boring they made me tired if i disigned the test i would put more pictures in the stories i mean i wouldn't hurt to have color and exitment in the story really ifelt as if i was going to fall asleep. all in all the test itself was easy as pie
i'd say that it was pretty easy no suprises really i think that for all of you that ate a healthy breakfast and got good sleep at night i yo guys or gals would have probably done a much better job then the people who didn't eat a good and healthy breakfast and those that didn't get a good breakfast.

I think I did my best on the test and I hope I did great! I think the test was awesome. I think we were all prepared and ready to do the test. I think when you get a certificite from the year before, it makes you feel really good. For next year 5th graders:Take your time, don't give up and have a blast! I wouldn't change anything about the test actually.
I really think i made my goal. They really should have challenged us.
I think iI did well this last test was harder than the others. But I thint that is just because it was longer but other than that every thing else was esay and fun.

I was expecting the test to be hard but it was pretty easy if i made the test I would of made it harder.
I think I did ok and Ithink the state test was way to easy! There wern't realy any surprises well not that I know of any way! So take your time and study.

I think I did very good. I thought the test was easy at some parts but hard at others. yes the questons covered all of the stuff that we have lerned over the year. I thought you did a good job so I don't any advice. I would make the storys a little more shorter and give them some trick questons.
It`s already over well our reading test anyway.I think I did great I felt totally confident.
A couple(2)questiones I struglled with.Only like two i`m pretty sure. Well I don`t know how many but I do know I tried my best,used testing skills,and studyed but I do feel like I did really awsome. I can`t wait to see what grade I got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was pretty nervous about taking the test until i got there and i took the first test it was pretty easy. The advice i would give is to take your time dont stress about it and use your stradegies. I think i did pretty well and that i have improved and learned quite a bit since 3rd grade and im proud of my work and i think that every year ill keep getting better. I think i was well prepared and i did my best i think a couple questions were harder than others but overall it was all the questions and skills ive learned about. I think that if i gave the test i would make it at the ability of that grade level and try not to confuse the students with the wording. i think some passages are easier for me then others in my opinion i think that narrative storys are easier to understand and a little more interesting for me so i think i got a pretty good score and tryed my very best.I think that next years fifth graders will learn new things and will do outstanding and i hope the next group of testers will do good
I think I did great and I also thought it was really easy.And I diden't see any surprises. I really think it was edasy and i did my best im sure everyone did pretty easy no complaints or suprises some things that were hard were the authors purpose and main idea but other than that it was pretty easy im really glad readung testing is over because to me it the hardest out of them all.
I really thought it was fairly easy because I took my time got a lot of sleep and ate good breakfast so i really am pumped up for math testing and next years reading testing. do we have sience testing this year???. because i really thought that one was interesting and the hardest.
